Thepost-holder will be responsible for meeting clients and booking weddings eventsExhibitions, product lounge ceremonies, and other business may fit for our BQThalls to maximize the Monthly or Yearly profit and budgeted revenue.
Attendsand responds to all in-coming enquiries to the Conference and Banquetingdepartment writing proposals, meeting clients, converting bookings andcoordinating all details relating to the event.
Ensures tocommunicates all details with client of their events and leaves no room to guestcomplaints
Preparesand communicates event order sheets with each detail confirmed with client andshares with all concerned departments
Keepsdaily, monthly, and yearly records and plaining sheets in order to follow upbusiness strategies’
Goodknowledge of in-house product, availability of product, good communicationalskills with client and in-house managers
To respondquickly and efficiently to all in-coming sales enquiries, by telephone, fax and
email,preparing brochures as required
To followup all enquiries, preparing proposals where necessary and facilitating showrounds with potential clients to show them our facilities, contracting bookingsand raising invoices
Coordinatingall details for the client, including food and beverage, AV equipment,entertainment, themes etc.
Promotionof our facilities to new and existing clients through a pro-active approach
Respondingto and coordinating all internal meeting requests
Assistingin implementing the sales strategy as set by the Sales manager, and inassociation with the contracted banqueting caterers; including strategies forencouraging repeat business and up-selling.
3 years of experience in relevant field (Gulf experience is a plus)
